This disclosure explains how affiliate relationships may support Fareora in the future and how commercial links will be distinguished from independent travel information. Fareora’s affiliate integrations are currently disabled.
1. Fareora’s current affiliate status
Fareora is an independent travel comparison and information website. It publishes hotel, flight and car-rental planning pages, destination information, Travel Deals content and Travel Guides. At the date shown above, Fareora’s provider URLs, affiliate tracking identifiers and live affiliate integrations are disabled.
This disclosure describes the commercial model Fareora may use after approval by participating third-party travel providers or affiliate networks. It does not state that Fareora currently partners with KAYAK or any other named travel company. A provider should be treated as an active commercial partner only when Fareora identifies that relationship accurately and the corresponding integration is active.
2. How affiliate links may work
If Fareora is accepted into an affiliate program, some links leading away from fareora.com may contain a referral identifier. When a visitor clicks such a link, the provider or affiliate network may recognize that Fareora referred the visit. Fareora may receive compensation if the visitor completes a qualifying action, such as an eligible booking, within the provider’s attribution rules.
Compensation can depend on the provider, destination, product, device, timing, cancellation status and program terms. A click does not necessarily generate compensation, and Fareora does not control whether an external program validates or rejects an action.
Affiliate attribution may use link parameters, cookies or similar technologies on the provider’s or network’s systems. If that functionality is enabled, Fareora will update its Cookie Policy and privacy information as appropriate. The external provider controls its own checkout, tracking and privacy practices.
3. Cost to visitors
Fareora does not add a separate booking charge merely because a visitor follows an affiliate link. Affiliate compensation is generally paid by the participating provider or network under its commercial arrangement. However, Fareora cannot promise that every provider displays the same price through every channel or that using a particular link will never affect an offer, because prices and terms are controlled externally.
Always inspect the provider’s final checkout page for the full price, currency, taxes, service charges, baggage, optional extras, deposits and cancellation conditions.
4. Affiliate relationships do not determine the best choice
An affiliate relationship does not prove that a provider is the cheapest, highest quality or most suitable choice. Fareora does not guarantee a lowest price, complete market coverage or availability. A provider not linked from Fareora may offer a better itinerary, room, vehicle, protection option or cancellation policy.
Travelers should compare the complete offer rather than focusing only on a headline price. Relevant factors may include:
- flight times, airports, connections, baggage and change rules;
- hotel location, room type, occupancy, taxes and cancellation terms;
- rental location, driver requirements, deposit, insurance and fuel policy;
- currency, payment schedule and provider support; and
- the provider’s final terms and current availability.
Your booking decision remains your responsibility. If you book after leaving Fareora, the contract, payment, confirmation, changes, cancellation and refund process are handled by the third-party provider where applicable.
5. Editorial usefulness and independence
Fareora’s destination and travel-planning content is intended to remain useful whether or not a commercial relationship exists. An article may discuss comparison factors, travel timing or booking questions without containing an affiliate link. Fareora does not intend to publish fake urgency, invented prices, fabricated reviews or unsupported guarantees to encourage a click.
Commercial considerations may influence which integrations are technically available or which eligible offers can be displayed, but they should not change basic facts or remove the need to explain important limitations. Fareora may correct, update or remove content when information changes or an error is identified.
If a page contains affiliate links, a clear disclosure should be placed where visitors can understand the relationship before or near the relevant commercial action. This policy provides additional detail but is not intended to hide a disclosure that belongs closer to a recommendation or link.
6. Sponsored placements and paid content
Fareora does not claim that sponsored placements are currently active. If sponsored content, paid placement or another material commercial arrangement is introduced, it should be identified using understandable wording appropriate to the placement. Payment would not convert the sponsor into Fareora’s owner or make Fareora responsible for the sponsor’s booking service.
7. External provider responsibility
Third-party websites operate under their own terms, privacy policies and customer-support procedures. Fareora cannot complete, change or cancel a provider booking and cannot authorize a refund. Contact the company named in the booking confirmation for transaction support.
8. Changes to this disclosure
Fareora may update this disclosure when an affiliate program is approved, tracking functionality changes, or sponsored content is introduced. The revised page will display a new “Last updated” date. An update will not create a partnership retroactively.
9. Questions
Questions about commercial disclosures can be sent to [email protected]. If you believe a link or placement lacks an appropriate disclosure, include the page URL so Fareora can review it.
